About Triangle

Stan Ridgeway, owner of Triangle Writing & Editing, is a freelance commercial writer with extensive experience as an educator, editor, and consultant in both academic and business settings. During his career, he has published articles in international journals and won several grants and awards from national and international foundations. Stan earned his Ph.D. at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill.

Since 2004, Stan has worked as a Writing Consultant at the Hansen Center for Technical Communications in the University of Iowa College of Engineering. In this position, he helps students learn how to craft effective grant proposals and communicate technical information to corporate and academic readers.

Stan is also an online disk editor for Taylor and Francis Group, an academic publisher, and a writer for Trade Press Services. His work for corporate clients has appeared in publications such as Construction Business Owner, Construction Executive, and The Cutting Edge.
